Healthy Lifestyle! Don't give up and move forward!


I get from so many people when they are on their fitness and health journey and they are so pumped when they first start. They are sticking to the plan and doing great. Then they make a mistake and they feel so terrible, they want to throw in the towel! Well, I am telling you DON'T! You do not have to give up and give in. We are all human, we all have weekends where we may eat too much junk, maybe we didn't get our workouts in. It is ok! Forgive yourself! The worst thing you ...can do is give up and stop trying.

The key to a healthy lifestyle, is to get back up and keep moving forward. Get back on track and make better choices. Having a plan is key, having prepped foods available to you, don't keep foods in the house that are going to make you cheat, allow yourself to have a cheat meal, (not a cheat weekend but a cheat meal), schedule your workouts and give time to yourself!

I believe in a healthy lifestyle. Yes, I make mistakes too. Yes, I over eat at times, I have a weakness for sweets and seriously those honey mustard pretzel bites by Snyder's!! I have found balance works best for me. I have found that having foods available in my house that will prevent me from making bad choices. I will have a cheat meal or two over the weekend so I don't feel deprived from pizza and ice cream! The key is getting back right away to a healthy plan and not staying in cheat mode. They don't have to be fancy recipes, keep it simple. There are so many options to make better choices.
